El Ranchito Market is the best. It has nice cashiers. It is a cheaper, better version of an AmPm. If you want something like a $1 1 liter soda or a candy,drink,or anything. They have watermelon, meat, and other everyday goods. Excellent service and excellent convenience.

This place a a straight up bodega circa 1988. Yes it's frequented by Latina moms taking up the aisle with baby strollers and your share of Avenues gang members getting cigs, but the people working are nice and they are have a carneceria. Their prices are also reasonable for the occasional soda or produce item you forgot at the super market. The owner donates to local community events too.
